-Olivye (Olivier or Russian salad)

Also:

Most of this stuff you can get at a Russian Stolova, or cafeteria style restaurant. They are really cheap and chain ones are everywhere.
Some of my favourite alcohol:
Obolone and Chernigivske are two of the best beers. Obolone is in a green bottle and kind of tastes like Moosehead (or is it just wishful thinking?). Chernigivske is like Keith’s and comes in a few different flavours like regular ale, white, red, and a couple fruit ones.
There is also really really cheap vodka here. You can get a quart for about 3 or 4 bucks. It burns more than it should, but you can’t complain since it’s so cheap.
They also sell Kvas on the street in big yellow vats. You can get it on any busy corner for about a quarter per cup. It’s like beer mixed with ginger ale and it’s very mildly alcoholic and very refreshing.
