This image was posted in the Korean Herald, an English daily newspaper here in Seoul. It is an image used by those who have negative opinions of foreigners. They wear them on t-shirts, they try and portray us as no more than wild sex-crazed irresponsible partyers. Using the minority of foreigners here teaching English to show how "all" foreigners are like this is how this group tries to convince other Koreans that we are a negative influence here. We are not welcomed by this small group. They even have a guy wondering around under-cover trying to catch white people in the act of doing something reckless, like the paparazzi.
It couldn't bother me less that this goes on. For us here, it is more of a joke than something to take seriously or feel oppressed by. We all have a country where we can safely return to where we are the majority and where we are welcomed. But, it makes you think. For those who experience racism in another country, such as Canada(where there are similar small groups of people with ignorant view points towards a minority cultural group), it must be very difficult for them to cope and deal with it. Let's all spread a little tolerance and acceptance.
